Who does it affect? Recipients of civil service pensions due to retirement or compulsory retirement, disability, and widows’ pensions between 1 January 2016 and 3 February 2021, with two or more children, provided that the mother was not already recognised as having the same entitlement.
How much is it? A percentage of the amount of the pension awarded, based on the number of children.
The financial effects will apply from the date of the event giving rise to the pension, with a maximum retroactive period of four years. (Regulation: Law 47/2003: 26.11. Article 25).
How do I apply? Those wishing to apply must submit the relevant written application, stating the mother’s surname, first name and DNI, and attaching a copy of the Family Register or full birth certificates for the children.
