  1. CONDITIONS FOR GENERAL USE OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY PORTAL

    The Social Security informs you that access to and use of the website www.seg-social.es and all the subdomains and directories included therein (hereinafter jointly referred to as the Portal), as well as the services or content that may be obtained through it, are subject to the terms detailed in this Legal Notice, without prejudice to the fact that access to any of said services or content may require the acceptance of additional General Conditions.

    Therefore, if you do not agree with the considerations detailed in this Legal Notice, please do not use the Portal, as any use you make of it or of the services and contents included in it will imply your acceptance of the legal terms set out in this text.

    The Social Security reserves the right to make changes to the Portal without prior notice, in order to update, correct, modify, add or delete the contents of the Portal or its design. The content and services provided by the Portal are regularly updated. Due to the fact that information is not updated immediately, we suggest you always check the validity and accuracy of the information, services and content provided in the Portal.

    The terms and conditions contained in this Notice may change, so we recommend you review these terms next time you visit the Portal. The Social Security shall not be liable for any damages that may be caused by the use of the tools and information contained in www.seg-social.es relating to the taking of decisions on the initiation, development or result of administrative procedures. Decisions of this type must be checked at the relevant centres, organisations or offices. In any event, the information and content of this Website may not be used in any process brought against the Civil Service, and no liability whatsoever shall be assumed for any of the discrepancies that may exist between the printed documents of the relevant Administrative Office and their electronic publication on these web pages.

  2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

    Both the Portal design and its source codes, as well as the logos, trademarks, and other distinctive signs that appear on it, belong to the Social Security or collaborating entities and are protected by the corresponding intellectual property rights. Accordingly the images, |etc. contained on the Social Security server are protected by intellectual property rights.

    Information provided on the web site, except when expressly indicated otherwise, may be reused, and their total or partial reproduction, modification, distribution and communication for commercial and non-commercial uses is authorised, subject to the following conditions:

    The Social Security expressly forbids framing or the use by third parties of any other mechanisms that alter the design, original configuration or content of its Portal.

  5. PRIVACY

    In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPD-GSS), the Social Security is committed to comply with its obligation to process data in accordance with the aforementioned regulations in force. To this end, it shall take the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data.
    The purpose of the collection and processing of personal data is the management, provision, extension and improvement of the services requested at any given time by the user and the follow-up of queries raised by them.
    You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, limitation of processing and opposition to processing of your personal data held in the Social Security files by sending a request to the following e-mail address: delegado.protecciondatos@seg-social.es.
    The Social Security maintains the protection of your personal data in accordance with article 32 of the RGPD on data security, and has established all the technical means at its disposal to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of the data you provide to the Social Security, taking into account security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.
    The Social Security reserves the power to modify this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to new developments in legislation, case law or interpretation of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. In this event, the Social Security shall announce said amendments, clearly and with due notice, stating the amendments made and requesting, when necessary, your acceptance of said amendments.

  6. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

    The applicable law in the event of a dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms that make up this Legal Notice, as well as any question related to the services of this Portal, shall be Spanish Law.

    For the resolution of any dispute that may arise from visiting the Portal or from the use of the services offered therein, the Social Security and the User agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the User's domicile, provided that this is located in Spanish territory.

  7. DIGITAL CERTIFICATE POLICY. REQUIREMENTS

    In order to access the Social Security services and processes using a digital certificate you must prove your identity and, in cases where necessary, digitally sign the submitted documents. For these purposes, the digital certificates accepted by the Social Security shall be valid.
