Contributions and documentation

Contribution

The managing body shall pay contributions for the contingency of retirement while receiving unemployment benefit for workers over the age of 52, taking as the contribution base 125% of the minimum contribution ceiling in force at any given time.

The contributions made in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph shall have effect for the calculation of the regulatory base of the retirement pension and the percentage applicable to it in any of its modalities, as well as to complete the time necessary for access to early retirement.

Under no circumstances will these contributions be valid and legally effective as proof of the minimum contribution period required to qualify for any type of contributory retirement pension in the Social Security system, which must be proven at the time of the application for the allowance for the over 52s.
