Other Units
All of the aforementioned activities, which are carried out by the relevant operative units of the Maritime Health Programme, are complemented, where necessary, by other activities depending on the specific circumstances that present themselves when providing health care to sea workers, as is the case with air ambulance repatriations, in certain extremely serious cases and when the health care resources in the country where the worker is located are not sufficient to provide quality health care.
