Technical requirements

Hardware

Computer: RED Direct requires the use of a personal computer with the following minimum features:

• Processor similar to Core 2 1.06 Ghz.
• 1 GB of RAM.
• 60 Mb of free space on the hard drive.
• VGA screen  or better.
• Standard 101/102 keyboard.

Internet connection via ADSL or WIFI.

Software

RED Direct is compatible with following operating systems:

• 32 Bit / 64 Bit Windows Operating System
  
  
  • Windows 7 or a later version. The TGSS does not guarantee correct functioning with other, earlier versions of Windows.
    
• Updated LINUX  Operating Systems with Adobe Reader installed (for viewing specific reports which may show up blank with other viewers).
  
• Other Android/IOS operating systems as long as their versions allow the installation of digital certificates and compatible browsers are used (consult certificate provider for compatibility,  installation and use of certificate). In the RED System User Support Unit, installation support cannot be given for certificates in these operating systems.

Internet Browser: Programme for browsing the Internet. It has a graphic user interface for searching, finding, viewing and processing information over the Internet. A browser is needed to connect to the web since it uses windows where the information contained in pages from a Web server can be shown.

The browsers that are currently supported are:

• Internet Explorer 8 or a later version
• Mozilla Firefox
• Google Chrome
• Edge
