| PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING |
What will we use your data for? Your data will be processed for the main purpose of resolving this request and managing, where applicable, the recognised benefit. The purpose of processing your contact data will be for communications and sending information regarding Social Security. The personal data provided shall be stored while it is necessary to manage your benefit or those of your possible recipients, as well as for other purpose of filing and public statistics. |
| LEGITIMACY OF THE PROCESSING |
What is the legitimacy for processing your data? The data will be processed on the basis of the exercise of public powers authorised by law (Arts. 66, 71, 72, 77 and concordant Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015, of 30 October, approving the revised text of the General Social Security Act (hereinafter, TRLGSS). With regard to the communication and sending of information concerning social security, the processing shall be legitimate based on your consent. Refusal to grant consent means that you will not receive these types of messages, but it will not prevent us from informing you of the status of your requests via these channels. We also inform you that you are not obligated to provide your email address and telephone number, and that if you do not provide this, the processing of your request will not be hindered. |
| RECIPIENTS OF TRANSFERS OR ASSIGNMENTS |
To whom will we communicate your data? The personal data obtained by the National Institute of the Social Security in exercising its functions are reserved and will only be used for the legally entrusted purposes, without being transferred or communicated to third parties, unless the transfer or communication of these data is for one of the cases expressly stipulated in Article 77 of the TRLGSS, as well as the cases indicated in any other legal regulation. If it concerns a request based on international regulations, your data may be transferred to the competent international bodies for processing your request. |

What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data? With regard to the personal data provided, you may exercise at any moment, and in the terms established by the data protection regulations, the rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation and opposition, or you can withdraw your consent for the processing in cases where it was required, by writing to the Social Security Assistance and Information Centre (CAISS), by sending a letter or doing so via the Social Security e-Office, to the Data Protection Officer, whose details can be found in section two of this table. We inform you that in the event that you believe your requirements have not been duly met, you have the option to submit a claim to the Spanish Data Protection Agency. |
