Yes, applications for deregistration by self-employed workers included in any Social Security scheme with their place of business or residence in the localities declared as areas seriously affected by the civil protection emergency, which take place as a result of the cessation of the activity derived from the emergency situation, with effects between 28 October 2024 and 28 February 2025, may be submitted within 30 calendar days following the cessation of work.

The deadline for submitting deregistration requests for workers employed by another person seriously affected by the civil protection emergency resulting from the cessation of work due to the emergency situation, with effect from 28 October 2024 to 28 February 2025, has been extended from three to 30 calendar days following the cessation of work.

These measures apply to deregistrations and data changes taking effect between 28 October 2024 and 28 February 2025.

Deregistration of workers
The deadline for submitting deregistration applications for employees in the service of companies with their place of business in any of the affected localities as a result of the cessation of activity deriving from the emergency situation, and for self-employed workers of any Social Security Scheme, with their place of business or residence in those localities, is now thirty calendar days following the cessation of work, instead of within the general period of three days following the said cessation of work.

Data changes
If these changes are the result of the start or end of suspensions or reductions in working hours, as well as modifications of the latter, in the employment relationship as a result of an ERTE due to force majeure, they may be requested up to the time at which the last settlement of contributions in which they are to take effect is submitted.

Should any action be taken to apply for this measure?
This measure is applied automatically by the Social Security General Treasury without the need for any application.
