How to access

Once registered, you can activate your Cl@ve Permanent or identify yourself to the administration with Cl@ve Mobile.

Cl@ve Mobile is an electronic access system to public services that allows citizens to authenticate themselves in the procedure they are carrying out in the e-Office. The system a QR code to be scanned that avoids the need for users to enter their identification data on the access screen. If the QR code can't be scanned, the authentication request that will be sent to the Cl@ve app can be confirmed.
To use Cl@ve Mobile, you must complete the following steps:

1.Download the Cl@ve app which is available for free on the APP Store and Google Play .
2.Activate the application by following the steps indicated in the app itself; it is very simple.3.
Select Cl@ve Mobile in the identification gateway to which you have been directed by the administrative service you wish to consult.
4. You will be redirected to the identity provider, where you will be shown a QR code that you can scan from the Cl@ve app. You will also be able to select the option to enter your DNI/NIE and date of validity of the DNI (or date of issue if it is a permanent DNI) or NIE card number.
5. Open the Cl@ve app to scan the QR code or if you have entered your DNI/NIE, click on the notice or open the app to view the authentication request with Cl@ve Mobile.
6. For security reasons, you should check that the Agency and verification code shown in the app are the same as the one you are trying to access. Once you have confirmed the Cl@ve Mobile request in the app with the authentication (unlocking) factor that you have configured on your mobile device (pattern, fingerprint, etc.), you will be automatically redirected to the procedure you wish to carry out.

Permanent Cl@ve is a password that you can define at the time of activation and is valid for 1 year. Once activated, you will be able to access the administration's services with your ID number and the password you have set.
To activate your Cl@ve permanent you will need the activation code you obtained when you registered with Cl@ve. Once activated as a permanent password, you can change your password or, if you do not remember it, reactivate it from the Cl@ve services: password management. If you forget to re-activate it, you will need the activation code again.

Once registered, if you can't find or remember your activation code, you can request it from regenerate activation code.

When you select Cl@ve Permanent as the means of accessing an e-administration service, the system will ask you to enter your identity document and password.

If the password entered is correct, and the service does not require a higher level of security, it will allow you access to the service.
For e-administration services requiring a higher level of security, the system reinforces authentication with the request to enter a single-use numeric code (One Time Password, OTP) that is sent by SMS message to the mobile phone number you registered in Cl@ve.

The Cl@ve system for advanced registration includes the possibility of digital signatures using centralised digital certificates, i.e. digital certificates stored and saved by the Public Administration.
