Procedure for Active Insertion Income

The general procedure is presented below.

What is the Active Job Placement Income Programme?

It is a programme  that aims to increase the opportunities of re-entering the labour market for certain groups of unemployed workers. It includes the awarding of a financial benefit, called active insertion income, which is linked to carrying out active employment policies that do not lead to remuneration.

NOTE: The RAI was repealed by Royal Decree-Law 2/2024 and ceased to be available for new applications from 1 November 2024.

From that date onwards, no new initial applications can be submitted to access this aid. However, applications for reinstatement of RAI initially recognised before 1 November 2024 and currently suspended may be submitted.

Who can apply for it?

Seafarers who have a suspended RAI recognised before 1/11/2024 and who meet the legally established requirements.

What formalities are involved?

The Application for Reincorporation of the Active Insertion Income (RAI) must be filled in, providing the necessary documentation.

Where is it processed?

At the Social Marine Institute Centre that corresponds to your address or online through the ISM's e-Office.
