All applications  for Spanish and Mexican benefits must be submitted to the competent institution in the country where the interested party is resident:

 In Spain:

• the  Social Security Support and Information Centrenearest to your home (National Institute of the Social Security) or
  

• the  Provincial Directorates of the Social Marine Institute, for workers included in the Special Scheme for Sea Workers.

In Mexico:

• The Mexican Social Security Institute

Note:

If the interested party or the originators are resident in a third country, they must submit their application to the Institution of the country (Spain or Mexico) under whose legislation they were last insured..
