Lists of Services

The Lists of Services are written documents, which are an instrument used by the Social Security Treasury Office, the National Social Security Institute and the Social Marine Institute to inform citizens about the services with which they are entrusted and their respective quality commitments, as well as the rights of citizens in relation to these services.

Royal Decree 951/2005, of 29 July, which sets out the general framework for improving quality in the General State Administration, governs basic features of the quality improvement measures, which include the Lists of Services as quality improvement factors, responding to the needs of society as a whole and its citizens in particular. In these documents, Social Security is publicly stating its commitment to managing these provided services in accordance with the principles of transparency and responsibility, helping to involve and inform citizens.
