Digital Social Card
The Digital Social Card is an information system established by the 141st additional provision of Law 6/2018 of 3 July on the General State Budget for 2018, aimed at improving and coordinating the social protection policies implemented by the various public administrations.
This information system records the public social benefits received by citizens, which are administered by the Central Government, the Autonomous Communities, local authorities and other bodies.
Through this system, you can view information relating to all social benefits or financial assistance intended for individuals or families to which the interested party is entitled.
The Directorate-General for Social Security Administration is one of the bodies that provides information electronically to the Digital Social Card. Consequently, the information relating to pensions under the Civil Service Pension Scheme is contained within that system.
Among the options offered by the Digital Social Card is the possibility of obtaining a document that allows you to prove your status as a civil service pensioner.
You can download the app onto your mobile device via ‘Google Play’ or the ‘App Store’ and install the DIGITAL SOCIAL CARD app.

To log in, the app asks the user for your DNI and the PIN generated by the “Cl@ve system”. If you are not registered, you must first register at: www.clave.gob.es

Once you are in the DIGITAL SOCIAL CARD app, you can generate a document – the DSC – which lists the benefits to which you are entitled. You can download this to your mobile device and carry it with you at all times to easily prove your status as a pensioner.
