The Directorate-General for Social Security Administration offers pensioners under the State Civil Service Pension Scheme and recipients of other benefits administered by this Directorate-General the option to book an appointment to carry out any of the following procedures at the Information Service, located at Avenida del General Perón, 38 (MASTER’S II Building) in Madrid.

  • Applications for civil service pensions. For widow’s, orphans’ and parents’ pensions, you must provide the surname, first name and DNI of the deceased.
  • Application for advance payments from the Maintenance Payments Guarantee Fund
  • Application for support for victims of violent crime
  • Request to change bank details, address, income tax details or personal details
  • Enquiries regarding your civil service pension
  • Obtaining certificates and other documents

If you would like to find out the approximate amount of your future retirement or early retirement pension, you will need to book an appointment using the Prior appointmentoption: Information prior to retirement or early retirement

In the “Applications and Procedures” section, you will find the relevant forms, along with information on the supporting documents required in each case.

To ensure the appointment booking service runs smoothly, you must book as many appointments as the number of procedures you wish to carry out.

Some Civil Service Pensions Units, based within the Delegations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, also offer this appointment-based service. To check whether it is available where you live, click on Cita previa: Información previa a la jubilación o retiro.

Any civil servant who wishes to do so can work out the approximate amount of their retirement pension.

They must enter the start and end dates of their employment in Simul@ for each and every one of the civil service bodies, grades or posts in which they have served, as well as the periods for which they made contributions to the Social Security system, if they wish to have their contributions calculated on a reciprocal basis.
