Retirement and Early Retirement Pension Schemes
Staff covered by the State Civil Service Pension Scheme at the time of their retirement or early retirement who, where applicable, have made contributions to the State for more than 15 years, shall be entitled to a retirement or early retirement pension, which shall be ordinary or extraordinary depending on whether the qualifying event occurs under ordinary circumstances or as a result of an injury sustained in the course of duty or as a consequence thereof.
