National Training Centres
The national Centres in Bamio (Villagarcía de Arosa, Pontevedra) and Isla Cristina (Huelva) have specific training facilities and advanced, highly qualified teams. They also carry out research in the areas of socio-economic studies, business management, labour relations, evolution of technology, etcetera (etc.)

Mobile Fishing and Navigation Simulation Unit
Intended to offer courses in sea training, so as to bring this type of training to workers.
Classes and Workshops at the Marine Centres.
Marine Centres of the Social Marine Institute are located in a number of coastal towns. Their classrooms and workshops provide continuing training and vocational training in maritime professions.
