Compatibilities

The pension shall not prevent the exercise of those activities, whether gainful or not, which are compatible with the invalid's condition and which do not represent a change in his or her working capacity for the purposes of review.

If a job is held that leads to inclusion in any Social Security Schemes, the corresponding registration must be presented and contributions made, and the pensioner must notify the management entity of the initiation of the activity, either as an employee or self-employed.

Complying with these obligations does not affect the permanent incapacity revision abilities of the management entity that approved the pension.

With effect from 01/01/2014, receipt of the pension for absolute permanent disability and severe disability from the age of access to the retirement pension will be incompatible with the pensioner's employment or self-employment, which determines their inclusion in any of the Social Security System schemes, under the same terms and conditions as those regulated for the retirement pension in its contributory form in  article 213 of the Revised Text  of the LGSS.
