  • Receipt of the allowance does not prevent the individual from carrying out profit or non-profit activities that are compatible with his/her degree of disability and that do not represent a change in his/her ability to work for the purpose of reviews.

If the job carried out results in inclusion in any Social Security scheme, the corresponding affiliation must be presented and contributions made, and the beneficiary must notify the managing body that the activity has begun, whether as an employee or working on a self-employed basis.

Complying with these obligations does not affect the powers of permanent disability reviews of the managing body that approved the allowance.
  • Effective as of 01/01/14, entitlement to an absolute permanent disability and severe disability allowance once the individual has reached retirement age shall be incompatible with work carried out by the pensioner, as an employee or on a self-employed basis, that results in his/her inclusion in any of the Social Security System Schemes, under the same terms and conditions that regulate contributory retirement pensions under  article 213 of the Consolidated Text  of the LGSS.
