Activation for Employment Programme Procedure

What is the Activation for Employment Programme?

This is a temporary, specific, one-off programme for the long-term unemployed and includes active employment policies and labour mediation managed by the Public Employment Services in order to increase opportunities to return to the job market, as well as offering a financial benefit managed by the Social Marine Institute, which is linked to participation in said activation for employment policies.


Who can apply for it?

Seafarers registered as jobseekers with the relevant Public Employment Service on 1 December 2014 who meet the requirements on the date of submitting the application.


What formalities are involved?

You must complete the Application form for the Activation Programme before 15 April 2016, appending the documentation proving the standard requirements.
One month after the application, within a period of 10 days, accredit you are actively seeking employment.
Assignment of the individual tutor and the individual, personalised employment itinerary (IPE) by the relevant Public Employment Service.


Where is it processed?

At the ISM Centreassigned to the home address.
The office will send a copy of the application to the Programme to the relevant Public Employment Service.
