This form should be completed when an employer sends one of his/her employees to undertake temporary activity in another country and, in application of the international Social Security rules, Spanish Social Security legislation may apply. This also applied to self-employed workers who temporarily go to another country to undertake their activity and wish to remain affiliated to the Special Scheme for Self-Employed Workers, in accordance with applicable international legislation. This form should also be completed if an individual undertakes salaried employment and self-employed activity either simultaneously or alternately in various countries in the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland.

In cases where Bilateral agreements, the Ibero-American Multilateral Agreement or the European Convention on Social Security are applicable, either three or four copies of the form corresponding to each Agreement or Convention should be attached, as indicated in the instructions for each form.
