2012 Awards for Quality and Innovation in Public Management

The Award for Excellence in Public Management has been presented to the Valladolid Provincial Directorate of the TGSS.

Llámpara Natural 2012 Award

The Cofradía de la Buena Mesa de la Mar de Salinas awarded the hospital ships “Esperanza de Mar” and “Juan de la Cosa” this award in recognition of the medical and logistical work carried out by these vessels for the fleets operating in the Canary-Saharan Bank and in the Bay of Biscay and the North Atlantic respectively.
                              
First Circumnavigation Awards 2012

On 6 September, Sanlúcar de Barrameda Town Council and the town’s Artisans’ Guild commemorated the arrival of Juan Sebastián Elcano in the town, following the completion of the first circumnavigation of the globe by sea. Among the events organised was the presentation of the Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano First Circumnavigation Award to the Social Marine Institute.

• The Provincial Directorate of the ISM that has renewed the “AEVAL Seal” of excellence, first awarded in 2009, is:
   
  • Huelva Provincial Directorate of the ISM LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 24 May 2012.
  • Tarragona Provincial Directorate of the ISM LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 22 November 2012.

The State Agency for the Evaluation of Public Policies and Quality of Services has recognised the following levels of quality with "AEVAL Seals":

• By the external evaluation carried out according to the EVAM Model:
  • ISM Sub-Directorate-General for Administration and Budgetary Analysis, LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 19 January 2012.
    
    
• As a result of the self-assessment carried out according to the EFQM Model:
  • Balearic Islands Provincial Directorate of the INSS LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 27 January 2012.
  • Tarragona Provincial Directorate of the TGSS LEVEL 400–499 points, with AEVAL silver seal, dated 7 February 2012.
  • Vilagarcía de Arousa Provincial Directorate of the ISM LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 20 February 2012
  • A Coruña Provincial Directorate of the ISM LEVEL 200–299 points, dated 14 March 2012
