Work being done by a grandchild or a brother under 22 years of age produces the same postponement effects as the orphan's pension.

It is incompatible with the beneficiary receiving other public pensions, as well as income of any nature which exceeds the amount of the minimum guaranteed wage in force at any time, on an annualised basis.

As of 1-1-04, if the originator is not on active contributor status or in an assimilated contributor situation on the date of death, it will be incompatible with the recognition of another pension in favour of family members in any of the Social Security schemes, unless the contributions accredited in each one of the schemes are exceed at least 15 years.
