  • Workers who were members of the RENFE, before 14/07/1967.

  • Workers belonging to FEVE, the Public Railway Concessionary Companies, and the company "Ferrocarriles Vascos, Sociedad Anónima (SA)", before 19/12/1969.

UP

When  the interested party has contributed to several schemes in the Social Security System  and does not meet all the requirements to have a retirement pension under any of them, taking into account only the contributions accredited in each one of the schemes he has contributed to:

  • The scheme where he has made the largest contribution will decide the right to a pension, by calculating the total accredited contributions by the interested party.
  • If the worker does not meet the age requirement of the scheme where he has made the largest contribution, the pension may be awarded by that scheme, as long as the age requirement has been met in any of the other schemes that have been taken into account for the contribution period total. The following requirements must be fulfilled in this case:
    • To have been a mutual member on 1-1-67 (or on the date specified in the respective governing regulations of the other schemes or collectives) or on any date prior to that, or contribution periods or assimilated contribution recorded in a foreign country for activities carried out by this person, before the stated dates, which, if they had been carried out in Spain, would have caused inclusion in one of the Labour MutuaIs and that, by virtue of international regulation, must be taken into consideration.
    • That at least a fourth of the total contributions throughout the worker's working life have been made in the schemes which recognise the right to early retirement or the precedents of those schemes or foreign social security schemes. It is sufficient to justify a minimum of 5 years contribution in the aforementioned schemes, if he has contributed 30 or more years throughout his working life.
  • The recognition of the right to a retirement pension under 65 years of age, when the requirements in the sections above are met, will be carried out by the scheme in which the interested party have made the largest contribution and applying its regulations.

  • The retirement pension will be subject to a reduction, by applying an 8%percentage or the corresponding percentage, if applicable.
