RED System access
Scope:
The sphere of activity is specified in Article 3 of the Ministerial Order of 3 April 1995 (BOE of 7 April) on the use of electronic, telematic and computer resources for registering companies, affiliation, termination of affiliation and data changes of workers, contributions and collection within the scope of the Social Security.
This Ministerial Order states that the RED System will include companies, groups of companies and others who are obliged to contribute, as well as professionals belonging to their own associations and others who in their professional capacity must produce or present documents concerned with the activities alluded to in the Order and who must represent companies or individuals who are obliged to contribute or individuals in whose name they are acting according to the conditions established by Law.
The Order was later expanded in the Resolution of 30th March 1999 which establishes the possibility of including other individuals who in their professional capacity as the authorised representatives of companies must present or produce documents to do with company contributions and affiliation.
Therefore, in order to use the RED System (RED Internet and/or RED Direct) you need to receive authorisation from the TGSS.
This authorisation is granted to the aforementioned groups, within the scope of the following schemes:
- General Scheme, (including: Special Scheme for Artists, Special System for Fruits, Vegetables and Canned Vegetables and Special System for the Handling and Packaging of Fresh Tomatoes).
- Special Schemes for Sea Workers (Employed Workers) and Coal Mining.
- Special Agricultural Scheme (Actual Days Worked)).
Although in the future all Schemes will be included in RED Direct, currently the Contributions area is only available for the General Scheme (L00, L02, L03 and L13).
Description:
It is a service offered by the TGSS to companies, groups of companies and professionals. It aims to enable the exchange of information and documents between the TGSS and its users, over the INTERNET.
Using the RED System ,you can be in direct contact with the TGSS which, thanks to the technology and the necessary security measures in place, enables you to access information on companies and workers, as well as send in contribution and affiliation documents and medical certificates.
The RED system includes the following areas of action:
- Contributions: presenting documents from the TC2 series (Payroll Report), processing balances owing and making contributions by direct debit or electronic payment.
- Affiliation: affiliation, termination and data changes for workers, and requesting and consulting reports on workers and companies.
- Processing medical discharge and sick leave certificates for WRI and OD , as well as the confirmation certificates for both common and professional contingencies through the National Institute of the Social Security.
You, the user, can carry out these procedures and receive messages from the TGSS right in your own office, without needing to go anywhere and without any of the limitations imposed by office hours.
With RED Internet, you can access all the "Affiliation" and "Process Medical Discharge and Sick Leave Certificates" services offered through the RED System. However, for the Contributions services, users can only make "Requests for Headers for Electronic Payment", as they must install the application WinSuite32, which is provided by the Social Security (or JRedCom for those with the Linux operating system) to be able to submit the documents from the TC2 series.
In addition to the above services, you can also automatically download the files sent to the user by the TGSS (technical receipts).
