About Us

Civil Service pensions is the public pension scheme for civil servants covered by the scheme who entered the service before 1 January 2011, and for their dependants. This scheme guarantees social protection against the risks of old age, disability, death and survivors’ benefits, in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 670/1987 of 30 April, which approves the consolidated text of the Law on State Civil Service Pensions.

All civil servants joining the Civil Service on or after 1 January 2011 are no longer covered by the Civil Service Pension Scheme, but are compulsorily enrolled in the General Social Security Scheme
