Compatibilities

  • Work being done by a grandchild or a brother under 22 years of age produces the same postponement effects as the orphan's pension.
  • It is incompatible with the beneficiary receiving other public pensions, as well as income of any nature which exceeds the amount of the minimum guaranteed wage in force at any time, on an annualised basis.
  • As of 1/1/04, if the originator does not have active contributor or assimilated contributor status on the date of the death, it will be incompatible with the granting of the other family’s pension in any of the Social Security schemes, unless the contributions paid in each of the schemes overlap for at least 15 years.
