Family benefits

If you wish to apply for a family benefit, you can submit the form through the Social Security electronic office (https://sede.seg-social.gob.es), by ordinary mail or at a Social Security Assistance and Information Centre (CAISS).

Benefit application for a dependent child or minor in the following situations:

  • Over 18 years of age disabled, legally incapacitated and not living with parents/adoptive parents.
  • Orphans
  • Children residing outside Spain with persons other than the other holder of parental authority
  • Unemancipated minors
