
06-07-2021 From 18 July , the Social Security IT Department will cease to be a Trusted Service Provider and public employee certificates will start to be issued by the FNMT. Certificates issued before that date shall remain valid with full legal and technical guarantees until they expire or until they are revoked by the issuance of new certificates.

The Certification Authority for the Social Security IT Department (ACGISS) provides various trusted services to the Entities that make up the Secretary of State for Social Security in accordance with e-Government regulations.
The GISS is included in the List of Trusted Certification Service Providers (TSL) published by the Ministry de Economy and Business, for the purposes of the provisions set forth in Law 59/2003 on Electronic Signatures in Spain and in EU Regulation no. 910/2014 regarding electronic identification and trusted services for electronic transactions in the domestic market.
