Social Security Research Fund
- The Social Protection Research Fund (FIPROS) came about as a result of the institutional requirement for the Social Security system to promote research on social protection and help spread knowledge of this field.
- The TAS Order/3988/2004 created the Committee for the Promotion of Social Research, attached to the Secretariat of State for Social Security, with the aim of promoting studies, research and the dissemination of knowledge in the area of social protection, as well as creating avenues for cooperation between the various public and private institutions operating in this area, all of which is aimed at developing, improving and maintaining the public social protection system and its future outlook.
