Minimum Basic Income reaches nearly 2.4 million people in October
The number of beneficiary households is 773,272, of which 131,998 are single-parent households. Children live in more than two thirds of households with MBI, and they account for 40.1% of the beneficiaries.

Foreign affiliation exceeds 3.1 million in October
In the original series, average affiliation, the number of workers from other countries is 3,101,500, which represents a growth of 7.2% year-on-year, almost five points higher than total affiliation as a whole, which has increased 2.4% in the last year. Among the autonomous communities leading the growth are Asturias (21.7%), Galicia (15.5%), Extremadura (15.4%) and Castilla y León (11.5%), which, with the exception of Extremadura, were also the ones with the highest average age in Spain in 2024 according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
