Services available through Cl@ve login - username/password in the e-Office

The General State Administration has set up new ways to access e-government services through the Cl@ve system. One of these means of access is called Cl@ve Permanente and is based on login validation using a username and password.

You must have an Activation Code in order to set this password. This code can be obtained after registering in the system, in person at any Cl@ve registration office, or electronically using a digital certificate included in the list of accepted certificates.

Once the password has been set, the user can log in with their DNI or NIE number to access the "Username + password (Cl@ve permanente)” online services in Citizens and in Companies and Professionals.

In addition, in order to access some of these services and guarantee a higher level of security, log-in validation is supplemented by the system sending an 8-digit code SMS to the mobile phone number that the user has provided during registration; this code must be entered when requested in order to access the service.

The “Cl@ve: Manage your password” service can be used to create, re-set or change your password, and also to de-register if you wish to cancel the username and password.

The system will allow users already registered with a username/password to access any of these services.
