  • The Social Security protected 106,069 mothers and 118,206 fathers with childbirth and childcare benefits during the first half of the year.

In the first half of this year, 106,069 mothers and 118,206 fathers received the childbirth and childcare allowance, equivalent for both parents. In total, 224,275 benefits enjoyed. These figures correspond to periods taken between January and June of this year, so they do not coincide exactly with the number of benefits processed, since, for example, there are cases of benefits that could have started processing in 2024 and part of them were taken in 2025.
