  • Minimum Vital Income payroll reaches 590,000 households in April

    The Minimum Vital Income (MVI) payroll reached 589,948 households in April, in which 1,771,480 people live, according to the latest statistics published by the National Social Security Institute (INSS). The average amount of the benefit is 492.4 euros per household and, overall, the payroll has amounted to almost 348 million euros.

  • Spain exceeds 21 million Social Security affiliates in April

    The Social Security registered 21,073,339 affiliates in April, discounting seasonality and the calendar effect, after the increase of 40,677 with respect to March. This is the best figure in the historical series, after having added 480,653 in the last year. Affiliation has increased by more than 1.7 million workers since before the pandemic.
