General Information

The premiums for work-related injuries and occupational diseases are considered to be Social Security payments in all circumstances. 

Contributions for work-related injuries and occupational illness, in Social Security Schemes that require specific contributions for these circumstances, will be paid exclusively by employers. 

The percentage to be applied will be that established in the premium tariffs in force (sixty-first additional provision of Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015 of 30 October, incorporated by final provision 1.3 of Royal Decree-Law 3/2026 of 3 February (Official State Gazzette of 4 February), according to the activity carried out by the company or the occupation/situation of the worker, where applicable.
