General Information

Purpose:

To complete Retirement, Death and Survival contributions.

Beneficiaries:

People with disabilities over the age of 18 and under the age of 67, or over 65 if they can accredit their contribution for 38 years and 6 months, and who are affected by the disability grade established in the Royal Decree.

Who are not registered in any Social Security scheme, and are registered as job-seekers, and are receiving retirement pensions or permanent disability benefits, and are legally resident in Spain.

Form:

Form TA-0040 People with Disabilities.

Documentation:
  • Certificate or decision issued by the Territorial Directorates of the Institute of Social Services and the Elderly in Ceuta and Melilla or by the competent Institution of the respective Autonomous Community.
  • Certificate issued by the Public Service of State Employment or by the Public Service of the respective Autonomous Community.
  • Accreditation of the legal representative, if applicable.
  • Document identifying the applicant, and their legal representative, if applicable.
  • Certificate proving their inclusion in the census.
  • Foreign citizens: documentation accrediting the term of continuous legal residence in Spain.
Where to process it:

At the corresponding Provincial or Administrative Offices of the Social Security Treasury General, or if you have a digital certificate you can access the e-Office and submit the application form and required documentation online through the Special Agreement Registration process.

Termination:

Due to the interested party being included in the scope of application of a Social Security Scheme and the respective contribution basis being equal to or higher than the special agreement contribution basis.

Due to the interested party having the status of pensioner due to retirement or permanent disability.

Due to failure to make the payments for three consecutive months or five non-consecutive months except if due to duly-accredited justified causes of Force Majeure.

Due to the death of the interested party.

Based on the decision of the interested party.

Effective:

It will take effect at the option of the interested party:

In 2013 from the date of presenting the application or from the date of effect of the Royal Decree.

From 2014 it will only take effect from the date of the application.
