At the request of the Employer:
Employers are required to report the affiliation and, as appropriate, the termination of affiliation and modification of data related to the workers who join the company to provide services or who leave the company.
Similarly, when the worker is transferred to a workplace in the same company, but located in a different province, the worker must be deleted in the province of origin and affiliated in the destination province. It is also necessary to submit the affiliation or termination of affiliation when, for whatever reason, the worker is assigned to a different contribution account.
At the request of the Worker:
When employers fail to comply with the obligations indicated in the previous section, workers employed by another person may directly request from the Social Security Treasury General their affiliation, termination of affiliation or change to data, as appropriate, in the corresponding scheme.
Self-employed workers are obliged to directly report the start and end of their activities for the purposes of their affiliation, termination of affiliation and changes of information in the Scheme in which they are included.
Workers included in the Special System for Domestic Employees providing services for less than 60 hours a month per employer may, if the employer agrees, assume the obligations of registration, affiliation, termination of affiliation and changes to data.
Affiliation, termination of affiliation or change to data for workers may be carried out by the Provincial Department of the Social Security Treasury General or its administrative office when a Social Security and Employment Inspection of the data held by the Management Bodies or any other procedure detects a failure to comply with the obligation to notify the affiliation, termination of affiliation or change to data of the workers by the companies or, as appropriate, by the workers required to do so.
