DIMERCAPROL
(foreign medication)
  • Liver failure
  • Methyl-mercury poisoning
  • Cadmium, iron or selenium poisoning
  • Allergy to peanuts or derivatives
  • Kidney problems or high blood pressure
  • 4-phosphate glucose dehydrogenase deficit
  • Injection site pain
  • Hypertension, and tachycardia
  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Headache
  • Eyes and mouth burning (sensation)
  • Lacrimation and salivation
  • Muscle spasms
  • Abdominal pain
  • Restlessness, drowsiness
  • Iron, D-Penicillamine or EDTA in mercury poisoning
AMYL NITRITE
  • Allergy to this medication
  • Recent myocardial infarction
  • Anaemia
  • Skull trauma

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF:

  • Glaucoma
  • Hypotension
  • Headache
  • Tachycardia
  • Rebound hypertension
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Abdominal pain
  • Skin rash
  • Alcohol
CALCIUM GLUCONATE 2% CREAM

  • Allergy to this medication

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF:

  • Kidney and liver problems
  • Sarcoidosis
  • Calcium kidney stones
  • Medication containing calcium
  • Local burning sensation
  • Digitalis
METHYLENE BLUE 1%
(Master Formula)
  • Allergy to this medication
  • Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF:

  • Kidney problems
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vertigo
  • High blood pressure
  • Sweating
  • Blue urine and skin
  • Sodium nitrite with cyanide poisoning
ASCORBIC ACID
  • Allergy to this medication

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF:

  • Oxalate kidney stones
  • Anaemia
  • Diarrhoea
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Mild injection site pain
  • Oral anticoagulants (doses above two grams)
ETHYL ALCOHOL 10%
(Master Formula: 100 c.c. alcohol 96º medical, apyrogen + 865,2 c.c. of water)

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF:

  • Patients on antialcohol medication (Disulfiram)
  • Hypoglycaemia
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Sedation
CHLORPHE-

  • Peptic ulcer
  • Hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, asthma
