LOWER ABDOMINAL PAIN
There are inflammatory illnesses of feminine organs that may be difficult to differentiate from other abdominal illnesses (see Chapter 8.9, ABDOMINAL PAIN), and Chapter 8.33, URINAL PAIN). These may appear after a recent miscarriage or through a sexually transmitted disease. There is pain above the pubis on both sides. Sometimes, there is vaginal fluid containing flecks of blood. The patient's temperature is high.
The patient should remain in bed and their temperature, pulse and breathing should be registered on a temperature chart every 4 hours (DRAWER 11, Medical kits A and B). Ask for MEDICAL ADVICE VIA RADIO .
