VAGINAL HAEMORRHAGE
- During pregnancy
Haemorrhaging during the first six months
may induce a miscarriage. The patient should remain in bed until the haemorrhaging
ceases. If the haemorrhaging does not cease and is accompanied by pain,
follow the instructions given in the section covering MISCARRIAGE.
Haemorrhaging during the seventh to ninth months
of the pregnancy could signify the beginning of childbirth. In whatever
case, the patient should remain in bed until she can be disembarked urgently.
