Social Security

Located at costal ports, they provide, in compliance with the ILO Convention C163  concerning seafarers' welfare (1987), accommodation for sea workers in transit, both at ports and on board ships.

The management of these lodgings has been transferred to the Autonomous Communities , which have assumed the responsibility for social services matters.
