Temporary Widowhood Pension

The surviving spouse will be the beneficiary when he/she cannot access the widow's/widower's pension because of not being able to accredit that his/her marriage with the deceased lasted longer than 1 year or, alternatively, because there are no common children, as long as he/she meets all other general requirements (affiliation and contributions).
The amount of the benefit is equal to that of the widow's/widower's pension to which they would have had a right and for a duration of 2 years.
The benefit expires:

Because the established period of duration (2 years) elapses.

For the same reasons as the widow's/widower's pension.
