In the case of workers on board ships, when the ship is sailing or fishing in areas far from the place where the company is registered, the statutory period for the formalisation of said actions shall be six calendar days, to be computed from the ship's arrival at the harbour of the province where it is registered. In any event, no more than ten calendar days may elapse between the worker's date of incorporation to the company and the affiliation application.

Electronic document submission (ON-LINE Automatic Data Transfer System): The General Office of the Treasury General may authorise the exchange of data and documents (affiliations, terminations of affiliation, and changes) through the electronic, computer, or telematic submission of documents.
