Pensions for Terrorism

Special pensions granted by the Social Security and arising from acts of terrorism:

  • They are revalued under the same terms and conditions as non-concurrent contributory pensions and are not subject to the limits of initial granting and revaluation provided for in the law.
  • When they are concurrent with ordinary pensions in the System, they cannot be calculated for the purpose of applying the limiting revaluation and maximum pension limit regulations.
  • There is a minimum monthly amount equivalent to three times the IPREM  in force at any given time. For 2012, this amount is 1,597.53  euros. For this purpose, family member pensions originated by the same event are calculated jointly.
