Social Security

All applications for Spanish and Venezuelan benefits must be submitted to the competent institution in the country where the interested party is resident:

 In Spain:

• the  Social Security Assistance and Information Centre. closest to their address (National Institute of the Social Security) or
• the  Provincial Directorates of the Social Marine Institute, for workers included in the Special Scheme for Sea Workers

In Venezuela:

• The "Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales"

Note:

If the interested party or the originators are residents of a Third Country, they must submit their application to the Institution of the country (Spain or Venezuela) under whose legislation they were last insured.
