Periods of residence in Australia or periods of insurance in Spain before the Agreement came into force will be taken into account for determining entitlement to benefits.

Those who collect a benefit under the Agreement of 10 February 1990, or who meet the requirements needed to collect it, will not receive less favourable treatment due to the application of this Agreement.
